Gentle Yoga for beginners in Tierrasanta

Restorative Yoga

Perfect for almost every body, this class is designed with emphasis on stretching your body in a gentle way be hold 7-9 poses. The easeful Yoga postures will be supported by props including blankets, straps, and blocks. 

Therapeutic Yoga

Take the time to rejuvenate and re-balance your body while resting in easeful Yoga postures, supported by props including blankets, straps, and blocks. Each class will hold a total of 5-8 poses to provide a deep and thorough stretching of the muscles and connective tissues. In this class you will also learn to relax vigilantly, through intense observation within. This class welcomes all students.

Candle Light Yoga

Try this unique class set to soothing candlelight. The first part of class will consist of a gentle yoga flow, and then relax and unwind from the day with more Restorative poses.

Yoga Flow

Create a solid foundation in your yoga practice. Explore the roots of each asana, and focus on connecting the postures with breath, creating a flow from pose to pose. Yoga Flow includes hip openers, bends, twists, and balancing postures. All levels and prenatal students are welcome.

 

Advanced /Level 2 Classes:

Not recommended for those with injuries or chronic pain.

Yoga Sculpt

Sculpt by definition is to create and shape by carving. In this class we use weights, holds, and poses throughout to increase strength, create definition, and tone your body as you move through a cardio-intensive Vinyasa Flow. Consider adding Sculpt Yoga three times a week to your normal routine to burn fat and aid weight loss. This class is not recommended for those with injuries.

Total Body Sculpt

Blending the best of everything, you can expect to get some HITT,  Mat Pilates and Yoga Sculpt in this class. With this Total Body Workout, you'll lean and tone up with every move! This class is designed for people whose primary concerns are boosting overall cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and fat loss, without losing the muscle mass they already have. Workouts will use dumbells, BOSU, plyometrics and other various body weight exercises to boost your metabolism to its max. HIIT is a very efficient way of challenging your body more than what it is used to - resulting in muscle building and strengthening. All fitness levels are welcome to join this challenging yet fun and satisfying class!
